How Our Board-and-Train Programs Work
Adult Dog Training
Just like our regular boarding services, adult board-and-train takes place in a real home environment where your dog receives practical, everyday training. They’ll benefit from other dogs modeling positive behaviors while encountering plenty of real-world distractions to proof their developing skills. Training in a fresh environment allows us to start with a clean slate – new place, new behaviors – which often accelerates your dog’s progress significantly. Our comprehensive program covers all essential manners and obedience fundamentals, but we easily customize the experience to address specific behavioral challenges, advance to off-leash training, or focus on your unique goals.
The complete experience includes:
- 3-week comprehensive program
- Daily training in real-world scenarios
- Socialization with well-behaved dog role models
- Customized focus on your dog’s specific needs
- Owner education session upon drop-off (yes, we bring them home to you!)
- Regular progress updates throughout their stay
- Ongoing support for future questions
At the end of their stay, we train you too! Ensuring you understand how to maintain and build upon your dog’s new skills is crucial for long-term success and a thriving partnership.
Puppy Training Program
Ready to get your new pup started on the right paw? Our puppy foundation program is designed for little ones aged 8 weeks to 4 months, setting them up for success before transitioning to our adult program.
Your puppy will develop a solid foundation in:
- House training and crate training
- Proper leash walking and name recognition
- Reliable recall (coming when called)
- Positive dog and human socialization
- Introduction to basic obedience commands (sit, down, wait)
Like our adult program, we provide regular progress updates and conclude with a comprehensive handoff session covering everything your pup has learned, ensuring you’re equipped to continue their development at home.
